Blockchain intelligence platform Arkham revealed that official and predicted wallets tied to Justin Sun hold nearly 3% of the total PEPE supply, making him the meme token's largest individual holder. Sun's stash amounts to approximately 11.85 trillion PEPE tokens valued at roughly $51.25 million. Outside of centralized exchange entities Binance, Robinhood Crypto, and Coinbase, no other wallet cluster holds a comparable balance.[3][1][6][4][2]

The vast majority of the tokens entered Sun's wallets over a 10-day period. Prior to mid-October, his known PEPE holdings were valued at only about $267,000. Arkham tracked two major transfers from Poloniex on October 17 and October 26 totaling $48.76 million, consisting of individual transactions worth roughly $28.44 million and $20.32 million. In addition, addresses labeled as Sun's sent roughly $77 million in stablecoins to Poloniex between October 15 and October 25, while portions of the PEPE had previously rotated across Binance, HTX, and Poloniex.[1][3][6][7]

Market observers noted an important caveat to the massive accumulation: Sun's close connection to Poloniex means the transfers could be internal movements rather than new open-market acquisitions. Crypto commentator Kook Capital highlighted that every token originated directly from Poloniex, suggesting the activity could simply reflect the exchange shuffling its own balances rather than Sun making fresh spot purchases.[1][4][5][7]

Key facts

  • Arkham reported that wallets linked to Justin Sun hold about 11.85 trillion PEPE tokens, representing 2.82% of the supply and worth around $51.25 million.
  • Sun is the largest individual holder of PEPE, with only Binance, Robinhood Crypto, and Coinbase owning larger supplies.
  • Before the recent transfers, Sun's PEPE holdings were valued at approximately $267,000.
  • The tokens entered Sun's wallets through two withdrawals from Poloniex on October 17 and October 26 valued at $28.44 million and $20.32 million, totaling $48.76 million.
  • Wallets labeled as Sun's transferred approximately $77 million in stablecoins to Poloniex between October 15 and October 25.
  • Because of Sun's association with Poloniex, observers pointed out that the transfers might be internal exchange movements rather than open-market token buys.

Did Justin Sun Just Make a Massive Bet on PEPE? According to data from @Arkham Intelligence, Justin Sun owns about 2.82% of all available $PEPE tokens, totaling about 11.85 trillion tokens worth about $51.25 million. Most of that came in over the past ten days, when two large withdrawals from Poloniex occurred on October 17 and October 26. His previous PEPE holdings were valued at around $267,000 until mid-October. Only @Binance, @RobinhoodCrypto, and @Coinbase own more than him. No other wallet cluster comes close. However, there's a caveat: Poloniex is connected to Sun's wallet, so some of these transactions might have been internal rather than new market acquisitions. Regardless, Sun definitely has a stake in PEPE now.
