Hyperliquid has cumulatively bought back and burned approximately 49.87 million HYPE tokens, representing 4.99% of its 1 billion maximum supply, according to Wu Blockchain. The removed supply carries an estimated market value between $3.89 billion and $3.90 billion.[1]

On-chain burn tracking shared by Wu Blockchain and Crypto Banter shows the burns comprise roughly 48.32 million HYPE from Assistance Fund buybacks, approximately 1.18 million HYPE burned via HyperCore, and around 368,440 HYPE consumed via HyperEVM gas. Crypto Banter noted the 1.18 million HYPE permanently destroyed directly represents 0.12% of maximum supply, valued at roughly $93.4 million, alongside $3.82 billion held by the Assistance Fund. The tracker also showed a circulating supply of 301.97 million HYPE against a total supply of 998.82 million at a price of $79.10 per token.[1][3]

Over a recent 24-hour window, the protocol burned an additional 19,700 HYPE worth $1.59 million while generating an estimated $1.69 million in fees, bringing cumulative protocol revenue to about $1.38 billion, Wu Blockchain reported. While the supply reduction could bolster token scarcity and support value, market confidence in HYPE reaching $100 before the end of the year remains low, according to Crypto Briefing.[1][2]
