Google debuts Fitbit Edge fitness tracker with larger OLED screen for $179.99
Google has announced the Fitbit Edge, a $179.99 fitness tracker featuring an oval OLED screen and week-long battery life, scheduled to ship on October 27 as the company discontinues its Charge line.
Google has officially introduced the Fitbit Edge, a mid-tier fitness tracker priced at $179.99 that sits between the Fitbit Air and the Pixel Watch 5 in its wearable lineup. Preorders have opened ahead of in-store availability and shipments scheduled for October 27.[1][2][3][4][9][10]
The tracker is equipped with an oval 1.34-inch OLED display, providing 46% more screen area than the previous Fitbit device. Hardware specifications also include built-in GPS, fast charging, a replaceable battery, and up to a week of battery life alongside Pixel Watch smart features.[1][4][5][6][7][8][10]
In terms of health capabilities, the Fitbit Edge incorporates automatic workout detection, AI-powered coaching, insulin resistance tracking, and tools to flag prediabetes risk.
