The wallets originally received 59,751 ETH from an Ethereum Foundation address a decade ago, when ETH was valued at approximately $0.90, according to Lookonchain. EmberCN monitoring shared by Wu Blockchain notes that over the past 10 years, 49,751 ETH of that original total has been moved to Kraken at an average price of about $658.[1][3]
Historical transaction data on Arkham shows that the Ethereum Foundation originally transferred the 59,751 ETH 10 years ago to wallet address 0x06f099a7D789f10B0C1C1F069638BA25B2bf8483. That wallet subsequently distributed 18,000 ETH tranches to three separate addresses, which later routed portions of those holdings to Kraken.[1][3]
