Bitget Wallet launches virtual accounts converting USD and EUR deposits to stablecoins

Bitget Wallet has introduced a Virtual Account feature enabling users to receive USD and EUR bank transfers that automatically convert into USDT or USDC, partnering with payments provider Noah.

Self-custodial crypto app Bitget Wallet has launched a Virtual Account feature providing users with personal USD and EUR account numbers to receive incoming bank deposits, the company announced Tuesday according to Unchained. Deposits arriving via ACH, Fedwire, SEPA, and SWIFT are automatically converted into USDT or USDC upon arrival, allowing users to hold stablecoins directly in their wallets rather than fiat currency in a bank.[2][1][3]

The accounts are powered by stablecoin payments provider Noah, which holds money transmitter licenses in around 30 U.S. states alongside registrations in Canada and Lithuania. Noah founder and CEO Shah Ramezani said the product functions like a global neobank where users retain control of their keys. Opening an account is free and requires no local residency, though outbound transfers are not yet active and are scheduled for the coming months.[2]

Bitget Wallet is pitching the product to cross-border freelancers, emerging market recipients, and users converting savings without centralized exchanges. The company stated that a $500 ACH transfer incurs roughly $2 in its own fees, with sending banks and blockchain networks potentially charging separately. As a launch promotion, Bitget Wallet is refunding transaction fees for the first 1,000 eligible users whose opening deposits qualify.[2][3]

Bitget Wallet Gives Users USD and EUR Account Numbers That Convert Deposits to Stablecoins Bitget Wallet , the self-custodial crypto wallet, is giving its users personal USD and EUR account numbers that can take in bank transfers, with the money converted on arrival into USDT or USDC . Stablecoin payments provider Noah supplies the account numbers, the company said in a press release on Tuesday. The feature, called Virtual Account, accepts incoming transfers over ACH, Fedwire, SEPA and SWIFT starting today. Sending money out is not live yet; Bitget Wallet said in the release that outbound transfers are planned “for the coming months.” Opening an account is free, and the company said no local residency is required. Because deposits are swapped into stablecoins, users end up holding USDT or USDC in the wallet rather than dollars or euros at a bank. Bitget Wallet is adding the accounts to its payments lineup , so the funds can go toward its card, QR payments, transfers, yield products and investments, the company said. Who It Is For The company is pitching the accounts to freelancers paid by US or European employers, to people in emerging markets receiving money from abroad, and to users moving bank savings into stablecoins without an exchange. On cost, Bitget Wallet said a $500 ACH transfer runs about $2 in its own fees , and that sending banks and blockchain networks may charge separately. As a launch promotion, Bitget Wallet said it will refund all transaction fees for the first 1,000 eligible users whose opening deposit qualifies. “For many users, especially in markets where access to dollar accounts or cross-border banking remains limited, bringing these payment rails directly into a self-custodial wallet creates a more accessible way to participate in the global financial system,” said Alvin Kan, Bitget Wallet’s chief operating officer, in the release. Shah Ramezani, Noah’s founder and CEO, said in the same release that the product “effectively works like a global neobank, except users control their own keys.” Noah’s Earlier Wallet Deals Noah, which holds money transmitter licenses in about 30 US states along with registrations in Canada and Lithuania, has offered similar accounts through other apps. It brought EUR and USD virtual accounts to Ledger Wallet in October 2025 and struck a deal to do the same for Fin.com users that December. Bitget Wallet says it has more than 100 million users and a $300 million user protection fund, which its fund page says covers user losses “caused by issues originating from the Bitget Wallet platform itself.” The wallet is distinct from the Bitget exchange, which lost about $388 million in September.
