Defense tech company Anduril Industries and Qualcomm are teaming up to launch BlueChip, a new line of rugged, waterproof laptops designed for the military, government agencies, police, first responders, and critical industries. The devices are intended to deploy Anduril's Lattice software and Qualcomm's artificial intelligence directly into the field while establishing a traceable, secure domestic supply chain to reduce reliance on foreign manufacturing.[1][3][4][5][6][8]

The laptops will be assembled at Anduril's Arsenal-1 facility in Ohio and will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon processors—specifically Snapdragon X chips—manufactured at TSMC's plant in Arizona. According to Anduril founder Palmer Luckey, approximately 90% of the planned components are sourced from the United States and allied nations, with long-term plans to transition to a completely American-made device, including domestically produced displays.[2][3][4][8]

Official pricing has not been revealed, though Luckey estimated the laptops will cost roughly 20% more than standard high-end PCs. The first laptop models and order intake are scheduled for 2027.[1][4][5][6][7]
