XRP Ledger crosses 10 million x402 payments

The XRP Ledger has surpassed 10 million x402 agentic payments settling directly on the network through t54's facilitator, just three months after reaching one million.

The XRP Ledger has crossed 10 million x402 payments, reflecting the expansion of machine-driven agent-to-agent transactions settling directly on the network through t54's x402 facilitator, according to reports from Whale Insider and crypto.news.[1][3][5]

RippleX Head of Engineering Akinyele announced the milestone, which arrived three months after the ledger logged 1 million agentic payments, BSCN reported. Akinyele noted that transaction volume is currently driven by artificial intelligence agents paying for inference and data, though activity is expanding into a wider variety of use cases.[4]

More than 600,000 x402 payments are settling daily on the ledger across 161 registered merchants transacting with XRP and RLUSD, according to CoinGape.[2]
