Tokenization firm Securitize has rolled out onchain trading for U.S. equities on the Solana blockchain under the product name Securitize Stocks, according to reports from CoinDesk, The Block, and BSCN. Rather than functioning as synthetic derivative price trackers, the tokens are structured as Uniform Commercial Code Article 8 security entitlements. They are backed 1:1 by real shares, preserving economic and shareholder rights such as dividends and voting for eligible holders.[1][3][6][7][10][11]

The platform is introducing 12 U.S. stocks, including Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, and Strategy. All transactions settle in the USDC stablecoin. Trading is currently supported during extended U.S. market hours, with Securitize planning to move toward round-the-clock 24/7 trading.[3][4][6][8][9]

Trading on Securitize's registered broker-dealer platform is accessible to qualified participants across the United States, the European Union, and other permitted jurisdictions. Beyond its initial Solana deployment, the company revealed plans to expand tokenized stock trading to future venues, including the upcoming New York Stock Exchange digital alternative trading system and the OKXICE Tokenized Securities Venue.[1][2][5][7][10][11]
