Visa Direct launches commercial USDC prefunding with Inyo Global
Visa Direct has moved its stablecoin-powered prefunding capability into commercial production with Inyo Global, allowing businesses to fund cross-border payouts in near real time using USDC.

Visa Direct has officially transitioned its stablecoin cross-border payout system from pilot testing to commercial production, naming Inyo Global as its first enabler. The integration enables eligible businesses to prefund cross-border payouts in near real time using the USDC stablecoin, reducing reliance on conventional banking rails.[1][4][6][8][10][11]
The rollout expands Visa's stablecoin settlement capabilities across its network spanning more than 180 countries, enabling 24/7 global disbursements. However, access for clients via Inyo remains subject to eligibility requirements and rollout limitations.[1][2][5][7][10][12][13]
The deployment comes as major payments rivals push further into crypto-based treasury and disbursement flows. In the same week, Mastercard partnered with BVNK to convert stablecoins into local bank payouts, establishing a platform covering fiat, cards, and stablecoins with a 200-country reach targeted for 2027.[2][5][13]
