U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded a massive day of institutional demand on October 21, drawing between $524.8 million and $528.4 million in net inflows according to fund tracking data. The single-day haul was the largest since September 22. Inflows were spearheaded by BlackRock's IBIT, which brought in $235 million, and Fidelity's FBTC, which collected $212.7 million. Additional gains were logged by Grayscale's GBTC at $32.6 million, Bitwise's BITB at $19.2 million, and Ark Invest's ARKB at $9.8 million.[1][2][3][4][10][11][12][13][14][15]

The performance marked a third straight day of net additions, lifting cumulative three-day inflows to approximately $1.07 billion to $1.08 billion and pushing October flows back into positive territory. Decrypt reported that the three-day surge erased the funds' earlier monthly losses. Despite the influx of capital, Bitcoin traded around $82,800 as an earlier push toward $85,000 lost momentum, with CoinDesk reporting that past steep rallies required daily ETF inflows averaging roughly $235 million across extended periods.[1][5][6][7][8][9][12][13][14]

The turnaround extended beyond Bitcoin products. Spot Ethereum ETFs ended a five-day outflow streak by generating $14.96 million in net inflows on October 21, led by Grayscale's Ethereum Mini Trust with $28.07 million. In addition, spot ETFs tracking Solana and XRP saw positive flows, capturing $585,300 and $708,520 respectively.[2][4][10][11][15]

Yesterday alone brought in $524.8M, led by BlackRock's IBIT ($235M) and Fidelity's FBTC ($212.7M). Despite Bitcoin's recent price weakness, institutional demand through ETFs remains strong. The key question is whether these inflows can continue and help absorb selling pressure in the market.

Bitcoin spot ETFs have recorded 3 consecutive days of net inflows, bringing in a combined $1.07B. Yesterday alone saw $524.8M flow into the funds, led by BlackRock's IBIT at $235M and Fidelity's FBTC at $212.7M. That's a meaningful amount of capital flowing into Bitcoin investment products. The key now is whether these inflows continue and translate into sustained buying pressure. Three days is encouraging, but consistency is what matters.
