Uniswap founder says SBF bought Uniswap.com before legal team acquired it for free

Uniswap founder Hayden Adams said SBF paid seven figures for the Uniswap.com domain to redirect it to a project fork, but Uniswap's legal team ultimately obtained the domain for free due to its malicious use.

According to Uniswap founder Hayden Adams, the original owner of the Uniswap.com domain asked for a seven-figure price, which the Uniswap team declined to pay. SBF later bought the domain for a seven-figure sum—reportedly over $1 million—and redirected it to a fork of Uniswap to troll the team.[1][2][3]

Adams said the purchase backfired because the domain's malicious use enabled Uniswap's legal team to ultimately secure the address for free.[1][2][3]
