Ardoino's statement came in response to comments regarding discussions with Morgan Stanley. According to reports quoting Utexo co-founder Viktor Ihnatiuk, Ihnatiuk spent an evening in Washington meeting with Morgan Stanley to talk about USDT on Bitcoin, adding that Utexo is collaborating with the bank on rolling out the arrangement in Europe and globally.[2][4][8]
Tether has been working toward a native version of the stablecoin on Bitcoin using both the Lightning Network and the RGB protocol. Ardoino indicated that broadening stablecoin accessibility on Bitcoin remains a primary focus, describing RGB as a major avenue for USDT and stating that Bitcoin has consistently been central to Tether's vision.[10]
