Sui and Alibaba Cloud partner on stablecoin payments for AI agents

Sui and Alibaba Cloud have teamed up to support stablecoin-based, per-call payments for AI agent services, enabling autonomous agents to access cloud features within owner-controlled spending limits.

Sui has partnered with Alibaba Cloud to enable stablecoin-based, per-call payments for artificial intelligence agent services, according to reports by Cointelegraph and CoinGape. CoinGape reported that the integration is intended to facilitate seamless, pay-as-you-go transactions for AI services.[1][2]

The collaboration was announced on stage by Adeniyi, according to a post by crypto market commentator K A L E O. An accompanying presentation slide titled "Alibaba Cloud x Sui Agent Payments" outlined that the two organizations are working together to allow AI agents to directly access and pay for Alibaba Cloud services. According to the slide, the setup provides agents with tools to complete tasks while ensuring their spending limits remain under owner control.[3]
