Amazon slashes prices on Apple Macs, AirPods, and accessories for Prime Day
Amazon discounted 22 Apple products and accessories to all-time lows during its Prime Day sale, with deals including up to $200 off the MacBook Air and $120 off AirPods Max 2.
Amazon rolled out broad price cuts across Apple's hardware lineup for its October Prime Day sale. According to Mashable, the retailer dropped 22 Apple devices and accessories to all-time low prices. MacRumors separately reported that Apple's entire Mac lineup saw massive markdowns, marking the biggest price cuts yet on Amazon for the newest models.[2][6][10][12]
Among desktop and laptop deals, 9to5Mac reported that the M6 Mac mini is $150 off, while the MacBook Air received a $200 discount. According to Analytics Insight, the $200 price drop on the M5 MacBook Air applies across six configurations, bringing starting prices down to $1,099. WIRED noted that the $1,099 price point is the laptop's lowest in months, while IGN reported the deal is the first discount the MacBook Air has seen since a price increase in June. Kotaku added that the Amazon Prime Day pricing undercuts the Apple Store price tag.[1][3][4][7][9][11][13]
Apple's audio lineup also received notable markdowns. Both 9to5Mac and MacRumors highlighted Prime Day promotions on AirPods Pro 3 and AirPods Max 2, with 9to5Mac reporting that flagship AirPods are discounted by up to $120, specifically listing $120 off the AirPods Max 2.[1][5][8]
