NEAR Protocol launches confidential Solana yield vaults with Gauntlet and Kamino

NEAR Protocol has introduced private Solana yield vaults curated by Gauntlet on Kamino, allowing users to earn SOL yields through confidential accounts without revealing their wallet addresses.

NEAR Protocol has rolled out private Solana yield vaults designed to let users earn yield without disclosing their wallet addresses to the underlying vault, according to an announcement shared by crypto media outlets including Degen News and SolanaFloor. The vaults have no lockup period, enabling depositors to swap or send funds at any time through near.com.[1][3]

The vaults are built and curated by Gauntlet on the Kamino platform. In an announcement displayed by Degen News, NEAR Protocol stated that while SOL yield strategies are traditionally public, this setup routes yields through confidential accounts so the vault receives the deposit without ever accessing the depositor's wallet address. Crypto.news characterized the feature as adding a privacy layer to decentralized finance yield strategies.[1][2][3]
