Moscow Exchange plans to launch cryptocurrency trading on December 1
Russia's Moscow Exchange is set to offer trading in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT starting December 1 under new regulated trading rules.

Russia's Moscow Exchange is planning to introduce cryptocurrency trading across all trading sessions beginning December 1 under new legislation, according to reports from Watcher.Guru and trader Scott Melker. The exchange intends to support trading for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT.[1][2]
Trading is scheduled to run from 7:00 a.m. to midnight Moscow time, according to Russian newspaper Izvestia as cited by Coin Bureau. The rollout follows a law legalizing regulated crypto trading that formally took effect on September 1, despite the Russian central bank having pushed for a ban on digital assets in 2022.[3]
The framework establishes two tiers of access for market participants. Everyday retail investors will be required to pass a test and will be subject to a proposed cap of 300,000 rubles per year per broker. Qualified investors, by contrast, will be permitted to trade any cryptocurrency without trading limits.[3]
