A Morgan Stanley employee mistakenly sent an email containing a confidential internal document that detailed more than 100 investment-banking deals the firm was pitching and monitoring, primarily across Asia and other regions.[2][3][4][6][7]

The disclosed document reportedly contained information on potential initial public offerings from China, South Korea, and India. It also included data on private-equity backers, pension funds, and projects that had been put on hold.[1][2][5][6][8]
