Franklin Templeton registers two Nasdaq ETFs that reinvest dividends into Bitcoin
Franklin Templeton ETF Trust has moved toward listing two new index ETFs on Nasdaq designed to hold U.S. equities while automatically reinvesting cash dividends into Bitcoin.

Asset manager Franklin Templeton has moved closer to listing two novel exchange-traded funds on Nasdaq that channel stock dividends into crypto. According to a Form 8-A registration filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Franklin Templeton ETF Trust registered the Franklin US Equity Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF and the Franklin US Innovation Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF on The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC.[4][8][11]
The funds, expected to trade under the tickers FBEQ and FIBT, follow a dividend reinvestment plan (DRIP) model. Instead of paying cash distributions to shareholders, the funds automatically direct equity dividends into Bitcoin exposure. The FBEQ fund targets dividends from 500 of the largest U.S. companies with an expense ratio of 0.09%, while broader filings suggest the underlying strategies mirror benchmarks such as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100.[1][2][3][5][8][11]
NovaDius Wealth President Nate Geraci highlighted the structure as a streamlined mechanism for mainstream investors to build cryptocurrency exposure, noting that the products target a 5% allocation to Bitcoin alongside a 95% equity core. Under the design, dividends generated by the equities are deployed to buy more Bitcoin, with reports stating that overall crypto allocations are capped at 20% to keep digital assets a limited portion of the total portfolio.[4][5][7][9][10][12]

BREAKING: $1.8T Franklin Templeton is set to launch ETFs that turn earnings into Bitcoin. The funds will hold US stocks, but instead of paying dividends to investors, they will use that cash to buy BTC-linked products. This is the latest addition to a growing list of ways to get Bitcoin exposure WITHOUT buying BTC directly: 1. Spot Bitcoin ETFs - Funds like BlackRock's IBIT hold real Bitcoin and track its price. You buy them like any stock. 2. Bitcoin futures ETFs - These track Bitcoin through futures contracts and don't hold any actual Bitcoin. 3. Bitcoin treasury companies - Firms like Strategy (MSTR) hold Bitcoin on their balance sheets. Their shares often move with Bitcoin's price. 4. Bitcoin miners - Companies that mine Bitcoin. Their profits rise and fall with its price. 5. Bitcoin income ETFs - These hold Bitcoin exposure and sell options on it to pay investors monthly income. 6. Crypto company stocks - Exchanges like Coinbase earn more when crypto activity rises 7. And now, dividend-to-Bitcoin ETFs - You own US stocks, and your dividends slowly build Bitcoin exposure. With exposure, you benefit when Bitcoin's price goes up, without holding any actual coins. Wall Street is now making BTC easier to access than ever.
