Ethereum's exchange supply has dropped to a record low of 3.49% of total ETH supply, according to metrics from Santiment reported on Sept. 25, 2026. The data shows that 1.16% of the asset's total supply has moved off trading platforms since June 1.[1][2][3]

The outflows occurred alongside Ethereum's staking ratio reaching historic highs, according to BSCNews, which noted that fewer tokens remaining on exchanges leaves fewer coins readily positioned for sale.[3]
