Fireblocks executive says Dynamic wallets likely power some bank transfers on Fiserv

Fireblocks executive Itai Turbahn stated that Dynamic's wallet infrastructure likely powers some interbank money transfers routed through Fiserv, though neither company has officially confirmed the arrangement.

Dynamic's wallet infrastructure likely underpins some of the interbank money movement handled by payments giant Fiserv, according to Fireblocks executive and Dynamic co-founder Itai Turbahn. Speaking on an Unchained Premium interview released Oct. 21, Turbahn noted that when one bank moves money to another through Fiserv, those transfers are powered by Dynamic wallet technology. However, Turbahn did not specify which Fiserv products or transfer mechanisms utilize the wallets, and neither Fiserv nor Fireblocks has publicly confirmed Dynamic's formal role in those operations.[1][2]

While Dynamic's customer page features a Fiserv logo, Fiserv has kept specific wallet partnerships under wraps. On Oct. 1, Fiserv announced that its digital asset platform went live with financial institution clients, debuting with Roughrider Coin, a dollar-backed stablecoin issued by VersaBank on Solana for the Bank of North Dakota. Fiserv stated that more than 90 participating lenders access the coin via its Commercial Center banking system, with Fireblocks providing secure digital asset infrastructure and tokenization services, but that announcement made no direct mention of Dynamic or digital wallets.[2]

Fiserv head of embedded finance and digital assets Sunil Sachdev previously told Payments Dive in early October that the company had not announced partnerships with specific digital wallet providers, though it expected to share more before year-end. Fireblocks acquired Dynamic on Oct. 23, 2025, reporting at the time that Dynamic's tools supported more than 50 million onchain accounts by embedding app-level wallets without requiring users to manage seed phrases or private keys.[1][2]

Fireblocks Executive Says Its Dynamic Wallets Likely Help Power Bank Transfers on Fiserv Itai Turbahn , who co-founded wallet startup Dynamic before Fireblocks bought it, said on Unchained Premium that Dynamic’s technology likely sits under some of the money banks move to one another through Fiserv , the banking and payments technology company. When one bank sends money to another, “they probably use Fiserv as that infrastructure between them,” Turbahn said in the interview, which was recorded around Oct. 15 and was released Oct. 21 as a Premium episode. “That’s powered by our wallet infrastructure too,” he said, adding that the transfers “happened through Dynamic wallet infrastructure.” Neither Fiserv nor Fireblocks has publicly confirmed a role for Dynamic, and Turbahn did not say which Fiserv product or which transfers he had in mind. Upgrade Fiserv’s Digital Asset Platform Roughrider Coin , a dollar-backed stablecoin from the Bank of North Dakota, is the first live use of the digital asset platform Fiserv announced as live with financial institution clients on Oct. 1. Participating lenders, more than 90 of them across North Dakota, can use the coin to move money among themselves. Fiserv said they will get to it through Commercial Center, the online banking system its institution clients already use to send money between banks. Fireblocks is “providing secure digital asset infrastructure and tokenization services,” the release said, while VersaBank issues the coin and transactions run on Solana . The release does not mention wallets or Dynamic. In an interview published Oct. 5, Sunil Sachdev, Fiserv’s head of embedded finance and digital assets, told Payments Dive that the company’s FIUSD stablecoin would work with other digital wallets as well as inside Fiserv’s own closed system. Fiserv had not said it was working with any particular digital wallet provider, he said, but expected to have something to share on that before year-end. Dynamic’s own customers page shows a Fiserv logo. Dynamic Inside Fireblocks Fireblocks announced the Dynamic acquisition on Oct. 23, 2025, saying at the time that the startup’s tools ran more than 50 million onchain accounts. On the show, Turbahn described Dynamic as giving developers “the wallet infrastructure to put in your app,” without users having to handle seed phrases or keys. Inside Fireblocks, he said, those app-level wallets are paired with Fireblocks’ systems for large companies’ treasury operations. Fireblocks has been adding services for payments firms, including a stablecoin liquidity marketplace it opened Oct. 15. Turbahn offered the Fiserv example alongside others, including NFT marketplace Magic Eden and Circle’s bridging tools. He said most people “have probably touched Dynamic products in some way” without realizing it was Dynamic, and “without necessarily realizing it’s even crypto.” Watch the full conversation on Unchained Premium: Premium members get the complete interview with Fireblocks’ Itai Turbahn on why many people already use crypto wallets without knowing it.
