Cobo to shut down wallet app in December 2026
Singapore-based digital asset custody provider Cobo will shut down the Cobo Wallet app on Dec. 1, 2026, urging users to withdraw all funds before Nov. 30 to avoid steep monthly management fees.

Singapore-based crypto custody provider Cobo announced on Oct. 16, 2026, that it will shut down the Cobo Wallet app on Dec. 1, 2026, at 00:00:00 (UTC+8) as part of a strategic business adjustment. The platform, one of the sector's early wallet applications launched by an F2Pool co-founder, stated that its other business operations will remain unaffected and continue running normally.[1][3]
Users are required to withdraw all assets before 23:59 on Nov. 30, 2026 (UTC+8). Cobo also advised users to replace or remove any Cobo Wallet receiving addresses linked to exchanges, mining pools, or other external platforms to prevent inadvertent transfers after the cutoff.[2][3]
Assets left behind after the deadline will be subject to a 2% monthly management fee with a minimum charge of $100. Accounts with balances under $100 will have their entire remaining amount deducted in a single charge. The initial fee assessment will occur on Jan. 1, 2027, and recurring monthly deductions will continue until remaining balances are either withdrawn or completely depleted.[1][2][3]
