US spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $110.3 million in net inflows on Monday, snapping a two-day slide that saw hundreds of millions of dollars pulled from the market. The day's entire net inflow came from BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), according to data reported by The Block, while all other tracked spot bitcoin funds registered zero net flows.[5][3][4]

The Monday rebound followed a sharp reversal at the end of the previous week. Coinglass data showed that funds shed a combined $773.5 million over two consecutive trading days, losing $635.6 million on Oct. 22 and $137.9 million on Oct. 23. Despite that late-week drawdown, bitcoin ETFs finished the previous trading week up roughly $301 million, ending a two-week streak of net outflows.[1][3][7][2]

Market commentators That Martini Guy and CryptoSavingExpert cautioned against viewing the single positive session as a confirmed trend reversal. Both noted that the preceding sell-off was substantial and pointed to an upcoming Federal Reserve interest rate decision as a critical indicator for whether institutional inflows will persist.[3][6]

Meanwhile, spot ether products moved in the opposite direction on Monday, shedding approximately $88.6 million in net outflows, according to The Block and Crypto Briefing.[5][4]

US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $110.3M in net inflows on Monday. A welcome change after $773.5M in combined outflows last Thursday and Friday. But we're not calling a trend reversal off one green day. Bitcoin ETFs saw $635.6M in outflows on Wednesday alone, so there's still plenty of ground to recover. The positive is that institutional demand has returned after several heavy selling sessions. With the Fed decision approaching, the next few sessions could tell us whether this was a one-day bounce in flows or the start of a more sustained recovery.

BITCOIN ETFs JUST RECORDED $110.3M IN INFLOWS. After $773.5M in outflows across Thursday and Friday, US spot Bitcoin ETFs have finally flipped back into positive territory. But look at the bigger picture. Wednesday saw $635.6M leave the funds. That's a serious amount of selling to absorb, and one positive session doesn't erase it. The encouraging part is that buyers have stepped back in after the sell-off. The question now is whether they can keep buying rather than letting another round of outflows hit. With the Fed decision coming up, ETF flows are worth paying attention to. One green day is a start. A run of inflows would be a much stronger signal.
