Binance Wallet has added the ability for users to pay transaction gas fees directly using USDT across four major blockchains: BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana, and TRON. The feature removes the requirement to hold each network's native token prior to conducting transactions, specifically addressing situations where users hold USDT but lack sufficient native gas tokens to complete transfers.[1][2][3]

Binance stated that support for additional blockchain networks will be added later. According to Crypto Briefing, the USDT payment option simplifies cryptocurrency transactions, which could help drive broader user adoption and reduce dependency on native blockchain tokens for network fees.[1][2][3]
