Aviva Investors has partnered with Ripple to launch a tokenized share class of its £22 billion ($29 billion) Sterling Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger. The asset manager invested £50 million ($66 million) into the blockchain-based share class, marking the second onchain fund offering the firm has deployed on the network.[3][4][6][7]

Managing approximately £22 billion in assets under management, the Sterling Liquidity Fund is Aviva Investors' largest fund. The new tokenized vehicle is available exclusively to professional investors and relies on a "digital twin" structure for fund holdings, with BNY Mellon continuing to act as the custodian.[1][5][8]

The roll-out follows the launch of a tokenized U.S. dollar liquidity fund share class on the XRP Ledger in July 2026. With the addition of the sterling share class, Aviva Investors' total tokenized fund exposure across both offerings has risen to £86 million ($116 million).[1][3][4][8]
