Apple has officially released iOS 27.2 alongside iPadOS 27.2 and macOS 27.2. The update introduces several enhancements to Siri AI, including support for five additional languages, improved retention of context from prior interactions, and the ability to draw from a wider range of personal context.[4][5][7][12][13][14]

The release also marks the rollout of a refreshed design for Apple Music. Developed around a visual theme of shaping images from sound in collaboration with British producer Fred Again and Nest Acoustics, the new look swaps the previous red app icon for a black-and-white icon, adds blue accents to selected tabs, and incorporates redesigned black-background widgets.[1][3][5][8][15][16]

Additional changes across iOS 27.2 include support for streaming up to four live sports broadcasts at once, Dual Capture functionality in group FaceTime calls, and Suggested Actions in Messages. For iPhone Duo users, the update delivers Apple Pencil support and Edge Light illumination for video calls.[2][4][6][9][10][11]
