Apple is hiring a Financial Product Strategy Lead for Apple Pay in the United States, requiring knowledge of stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and blockchain technology, according to reporting citing Bloomingbit. Several industry reports and posts stated that the position offers compensation of up to $280,000, with reported responsibilities involving the integration of regulated stablecoins into Apple's payment framework for peer-to-peer transactions and merchant settlements.[7][5][2][4][6][9]

Google is also recruiting for digital-asset talent, listing an Industry Principal Architect role for Web3 in Hong Kong. That position seeks experience across real-world asset tokenization, stablecoin payment networks, tokenized deposits, and digital-asset custody. According to reports, while both technology companies are evaluating digital-asset infrastructure for payments and financial operations, there is currently no evidence that either firm plans to issue its own stablecoin or launch a specific digital-asset service.[7][10][3][1][8]

The hiring developments also coincided with separate unconfirmed reports that Samsung is planning stablecoin support for Samsung Wallet.[2][6][9]
