WhatsApp expands Events with shareable links and non-user RSVPs

Meta is overhauling WhatsApp Events to introduce a centralized management hub and shareable invite links that allow people without WhatsApp accounts to RSVP.

Meta is expanding WhatsApp's event-planning tools to help users organize gatherings beyond their existing contact lists and active group chats, according to Neowin. As part of the overhaul reported by 9to5Mac, the messaging platform has added shareable event invites alongside a dedicated Events hub, which The Verge noted is called Events Home for managing RSVPs.[4][2][1]
