Uber reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $14.8 billion, a 10% increase from the prior year that edged past analyst forecasts, alongside gross bookings of $59.82 billion, up 20% year over year, according to Wall St Engine. Adjusted EBITDA grew 31% to $2.96 billion with an EBITDA margin of 5.0%, and free cash flow reached $2.54 billion. Monthly active platform consumers rose 14% to 215 million, while total trips climbed 16% to 4.1 billion. Segment performance diverged, with Delivery surging 23% to $5.49 billion and Freight jumping 34% to $1.76 billion, while Mobility revenue slipped 2% to $7.52 billion.[1]

For the fourth quarter, Uber projected gross bookings between $63.25 billion and $65.25 billion, adjusted EBITDA of $3.13 billion to $3.23 billion, and non-GAAP EPS of $0.95 to $0.99. Despite top-line gains, market reactions were mixed. CNBC reported that both mobility and delivery units missed estimates, while TrendSpider noted that adjusted EPS of $0.88 trailed a $0.96 consensus estimate alongside lowered fourth-quarter EPS guidance. Crypto Briefing also characterized the results as a quarterly earnings miss coupled with cautious fourth-quarter profit guidance. A chart shared by market commentator Shay Boloor showed Uber shares slipping 2.07% to $65.22 in pre-market trading after closing the prior session at $66.60.[1][3][4][6][7]

Uber also spotlighted its autonomous vehicle rollout, saying commercial execution is now its primary focus. The company expects about 700 fully driverless vehicles on its platform by the end of the year and more than 2,000 in 2027. Barron's noted Uber is preparing to invest billions into robotaxis, though Financial Times reporter Rafe Rosner-Uddin highlighted that a 2,000-vehicle fleet would still trail rival Waymo. Crypto Briefing added that the autonomous expansion will face regulatory hurdles and ongoing reliance on vehicle partners.[1][2][5][8]
