Stacks Bitcoin staking bond draws 1,005 BTC from institutional backers
Bond 3 of Stacks' Bitcoin staking sold out after attracting 1,005 BTC from Bullish Capital and 21Shares, exceeding the volume raised across the program's first two bonds combined.

Institutional investors Bullish Capital and asset manager 21Shares committed 1,005 BTC to Bond 3 of Bitcoin staking on the Stacks network, according to reports by The Block and Crypto Briefing. The round surpassed the combined volume of the first two Stacks staking bonds and quickly sold out.[1][2][3][4]
Under the bond terms reported by BSCNews, participants earn weekly Bitcoin rewards targeted at a 3% annual yield across a six-month term. The staked Bitcoin remains timelocked directly on the Bitcoin layer-1 network, allowing participants to retain self-custody throughout the staking process.[1][2][3]
Bullish holds more than 22,000 BTC, making it the first company among the ten largest publicly traded Bitcoin holders to stake on the Bitcoin layer-1 to earn BTC via Stacks, BSCNews noted. 21Shares, which manages over $6.5 billion in assets, also joined the offering. Stacks is scheduled to open its fourth bond around December 3.[1][2][3]
