The Sei network reached $15.9 billion in cumulative decentralized exchange volume on Oct. 19, closing in on the $16 billion threshold, according to reports from Cointelegraph and BSCNews. A DefiLlama chart shared by Cointelegraph shows Sei's cumulative DEX volume climbing steadily from near zero in early 2024 to roughly $16 billion by late 2026.[2][3]

Trading activity on the blockchain remains heavily concentrated in a single protocol. BSCNews reported that Sei logged $278 million in DEX volume over a recent 30-day stretch, with Saphyre processing roughly $276 million of that total and leaving around $2 million for all other decentralized exchanges combined.[3]
