Pump App has introduced a gacha-style pack opening feature that lets users open packs containing real vaulted collectibles, according to posts from crypto commentators TylerD and CookerFlips. Pack tiers span categories such as Pokémon, One Piece, sports cards, and watches, with prices extending from $25 up to $5,000.[3][1]

Screenshots shared by users show that the app features a Starter Pokémon pack priced at $25 for one graded card with pulls advertised up to $500, alongside higher-tier options including a Legendary Pokémon Gacha Pack for 250 USDC and a Celestial Pokémon Gacha Pack priced at 5,000 USDC. Displayed cards are vaulted and eligible for cash out, with top pulls on the interface showcasing graded items such as a 2023 Paldea Evolved Magikarp PSA 9 valued at $415 and a 2025 Black Bolt Zekrom EX PSA 10 valued at $395.[3][1][2]

Roughly $2 million worth of packs were opened almost immediately following the feature's release, according to commentator wyckoffweb. However, wyckoffweb warned that based on hundreds of thousands of pack openings on Collector Crypt, only roughly 29% of packs returned value equal to or greater than the purchase price, implying about seven out of ten pack openings result in a net loss.[2]
