The infrastructure project is tied to a $45 billion compute agreement between Nscale and artificial intelligence startup Anthropic, which plans to utilize the facility.[5][3][2][4][1]

The credit backing could exceed $5 billion based on industry estimates cited in the report. Rather than funding chip acquisitions, the guarantees would cover power and construction expenses for the facility, which is expected to deploy Nvidia's Vera Rubin GPUs.     $NVDA is reportedly in talks to provide over $5B in credit guarantees for Nscale's 460MW data center backed by a $45B $ANT compute contract. Nvidia would essentially be financing power and construction rather than GPUs which could help bring more Vera Rubin capacity online faster while lowering borrowing costs for its customers.
