Microsoft has announced the Xbox Nano Controller, an ultra-compact $49.99 wireless gamepad built for on-the-go play and cloud streaming.

Microsoft has officially unveiled the Xbox Nano Controller, an ultra-compact gamepad designed for gaming on the go. Priced at $49.99, it is the company's smallest controller to date.[1][2][4][6][7]

The wireless accessory is five inches long, weighs 99 grams (3.5 ounces), and is designed to fit inside a pocket. Neowin reported that the controller is engineered primarily for cloud streaming.[1][4][5][7]

According to Kotaku, the new device is cheaper and smaller than standard Xbox controllers and does not require AA batteries.[3]
