Grayscale's Zcash ETF has gathered more than $1 billion in assets across its first 30 trading days, according to reports from The Block and BSCNews. The asset manager framed the milestone as a turning point, asserting that the crypto ETF market is moving into a new phase that expands past initial offerings focused exclusively on bitcoin and ether.[1][2][3]

Grayscale Managing Director Krista Lynch said standard listing rules set by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission presently cover about 15 cryptocurrencies. Lynch noted that these regulatory frameworks provide fund issuers with additional flexibility and room to select which tokens to bring to market as exchange-traded funds.[2][3]

The rapid asset accumulation positions the Zcash product among the best ETF launches of the past decade, BSCNews reported. Prior to the fund's milestone, Grayscale had placed 27 cryptocurrencies under review across multiple market categories, including artificial intelligence, decentralized finance, consumer applications, and digital infrastructure.[3]
