Electronic Arts has released 25 classic PC titles across modern digital platforms, including Steam and GOG, alongside a launch sale. The catalog rollout focuses on 1990s releases, bringing back franchises such as Road Rash, Wing Commander, and Ultima.[1][2][3][4][5]

The restoration effort involved digitizing 2,500 hours of archival master tapes. According to The Verge, the revival of Road Rash and six Wing Commander entries for new Anniversary editions was made possible by the discovery of a "physical media vault." In total, seven games received anniversary editions offering enhanced compatibility and restored cinematic video.[2][3][6]

Promotional artwork released for the wave showcases titles including Ultima Underworld, Privateer, Privateer 2, Crusader: No Regret, Strike Commander, and Theme Hospital. Special introductory pricing for the games runs across Steam and GOG through November 19.[1][3][5]
