Deutsche Bank is weeks away from rolling out its first cryptocurrency custody platform in Germany, marking the banking giant's official entry into digital asset services, according to a Reuters report. Gerald Podobnik, co-head of the bank's corporate bank, disclosed the rollout during the IMF and World Bank meetings in Bangkok.[2][3]

The custody service is aimed at institutional and corporate clients and will initially support Bitcoin and Ether, alongside stablecoins such as USDC, EURC, and EURAU. Podobnik noted that the service will also incorporate fiat-to-stablecoin conversions, with the rollout contingent on the completion of pending regulatory processes.[2][3]
