Apple has introduced a two-unit order limit for the foldable iPhone Duo across multiple international markets amid high demand and surging resale prices.

Apple is restricting purchases of its foldable iPhone Duo to two units per customer, regardless of configuration. While MacRumors initially reported the order cap in the United States, subsequent reports from Engadget and Digit indicate that the two-device limit applies worldwide, including India and other international markets.[1][4][5][6]

The restriction comes as Apple seeks to curb scalping and manage elevated demand, according to 9to5Mac and iPhone in Canada. Resale activity has already seen some eBay listings for the device climb above $5,000.[2][3][5]

Shoppers who attempt to exceed the cap on the online Apple Store are blocked by a checkout warning stating that a maximum of two iPhone Duo units can be purchased per customer, requiring them to adjust their order quantity before completing the transaction.[5][6]
