A crypto whale accumulated tens of millions of dollars in ether over the weekend, according to blockchain analytics data shared by market observers. Data from Lookonchain cited by Crypto Banter indicated that a single wallet bought 27,553 ETH for $62.97 million at an average price of $2,286 per token. Shortly before that transaction, the same address acquired an additional 16,658 ETH for $37.96 million, lifting the wallet's total accumulation to roughly $100 million.[1][3]

Other market accounts highlighted slightly varying figures from on-chain tracking platforms for the buying spree. Whale Insider reported, citing Arkham data, that a wallet spent 65.61 million USDT to acquire 28,603.8 ETH. Analyst Crypto Patel reported that the whale spent $62.46 million to collect 27,331 ETH over a nine-hour span at an average price of roughly $2,280 per coin.[2][4]

Arkham transaction records shared by multiple accounts show the buying address routing transactions in tranches through Uniswap V2 DutchOrderReactor contracts and interacting with a market maker address and NEAR Intents bridge wallets. Meanwhile, Lookonchain data cited by Crypto GEMs noted a contrasting whale trade over the same period, reporting that another large holder transferred $149 million worth of SOL onto exchanges across a 10-day span.[2][3][4][5]

A whale has just bought $62 MILLION worth of ETH. That's a serious amount of money to put to work during a dip. Big players clearly aren't all rushing for the exit. Is this the start of a bigger ETH recovery? https://t.co/TezHGK8ILO
