A survey conducted by Visa among 14,250 respondents found growing consumer interest in stablecoin payments across the Asia-Pacific region. Nearly half of surveyed APAC consumers reported being open to or planning to use stablecoins within five years, by 2031.[1][2][3]

Despite rising interest, the survey highlighted significant knowledge gaps regarding stablecoins. Only 6% of participants correctly understood how stablecoins function, while 41% believed that stablecoins always increase in value.[1][3]

The prospective rise in adoption could help drive financial innovation across the Asia-Pacific region, but findings emphasize an ongoing need for better consumer education.[2]
