Uniswap Labs rolls out aggregator hooks across Ethereum, Base, and Robinhood Chain

Uniswap Labs launched aggregator hooks for Uniswap v4, routing trades across external venues including Curve, Fluid, and PancakeSwap while directing protocol fees toward burning UNI.

Uniswap Labs announced on Oct. 22 that it has launched aggregator hooks on Ethereum mainnet, Base, and Robinhood Chain. Available via the Uniswap Web App and API, the feature transforms Uniswap v4 into a multi-venue aggregator capable of routing swaps through external liquidity platforms. Each hook wraps an outside venue so routing software treats it as a native v4 pool, allowing trades that combine internal and external sources to settle atomically in a single transaction with quotes updated every block.[1][2][3][6][7][8][9]

The integration connects to seven external liquidity venues, which Uniswap Labs stated account for more than 90% of decentralized exchange activity across the supported networks. Confirmed liquidity sources available at launch include Curve, Fluid, and PancakeSwap, with the new adapters developed directly by Uniswap Labs. Because the hooks register third-party sources as v4 pools, routed trades pay protocol fees that contribute to UNI token burns. The fee redirection stems from the UNIfication governance proposal introduced in November 2025, which envisioned protocol fees funding UNI burns alongside a 100 million UNI treasury burn.[1][3][4][6][9]

The deployment comes as broader questions surround hook execution. In a September study, rival trading aggregator 0x reported that swaps executed through certain malicious third-party Uniswap v4 hooks yielded up to 50% less than originally quoted.[5][9]

Key facts

  • Uniswap Labs launched aggregator hooks on Ethereum, Base, and Robinhood Chain on Oct. 22, 2026.
  • The aggregator hooks are live in the Uniswap Web App and API, wrapping outside sources so routers treat them as native Uniswap v4 pools.
  • The feature connects to seven external liquidity venues, including Curve, Fluid, and PancakeSwap, which Uniswap Labs reported account for over 90% of DEX volume on supported networks.
  • Trades routed through external sources pay protocol fees that contribute to burning UNI tokens.
  • Routing adapters for the external liquidity sources were developed by Uniswap Labs.
  • In a September study, aggregator 0x found that trades through some malicious third-party v4 hooks yielded up to 50% less than quoted.

Uniswap Turns v4 Into an Aggregator, Sending Fees From Outside Liquidity to UNI Burn Uniswap Labs has turned v4 of its decentralized exchange protocol into a trade router, and swaps it sends to other venues now pay protocol fees that contribute to UNI token burns. The company announced on Thursday that Aggregator Hooks are live in the Uniswap Web App and the Uniswap API on Ethereum mainnet, Base and Robinhood Chain . “Uniswap v4 is now an aggregator,” the post said. Seven external liquidity sources are connected at launch. Uniswap Labs said in its announcement post that those sources account for “more than 90% of DEX activity on these chains.” The post did not name the seven venues. Uniswap Labs said routes that mix its own pools with those sources are priced from quotes refreshed every block and settle in a single transaction, with “nothing new to approve.” Fees From Outside Liquidity Trades routed through the outside sources “pay protocol fees, contributing to UNI burn,” according to the hooks launch post, because the hooks register those sources as v4 pools. Uniswap Labs, which puts total swap volume on Uniswap above $4.5 trillion , said the hooks are aimed at liquidity that builds up on other venues. The plan dates to the UNIfication proposal published in November 2025 , which asked Uniswap governance to switch on protocol fees and direct them into a mechanism that burns UNI. The proposal listed aggregator hooks among the products where fees would eventually apply, alongside v4, UniswapX and layer-2 deployments. It also called for burning 100 million UNI from the treasury.
