Strategy buys 811 bitcoin for $65.5 million and repurchases $208 million in preferred shares
Strategy acquired 811 bitcoin for roughly $65.5 million while directing $208.2 million toward repurchasing its STRC preferred stock, funded in part by selling $164 million worth of common shares.

Strategy resumed its cryptocurrency purchases between Oct. 26 and Nov. 1 by acquiring 811 bitcoin for $65.5 million at an average price of $80,846 per coin, fees included, according to a Form 8-K filed with the SEC. Executive Chairman Michael Saylor confirmed the transaction on X. The acquisition lifted the company's total holdings to 849,327 BTC, acquired for an aggregate $64.08 billion at an average cost of $75,451 per coin.[5][6][2][1]
The bitcoin purchases were financed through the company's at-the-market equity program, under which Strategy sold 1,178,552 Class A common MSTR shares to net $164.0 million after commissions. Of the proceeds, $65.5 million went directly toward bitcoin and $98.5 million was credited to USD Cash. Strategy did not issue any shares of its preferred stocks—STRF, STRC, STRK, or STRD—during the week.[5][6][8]
Capital deployed toward share buybacks outpaced bitcoin purchases more than threefold. Strategy spent $208.2 million from USD Cash to repurchase 2,092,035 shares of STRC preferred stock, leaving $748.6 million in authorization under its buyback program after the board raised the cap to $3 billion last month. The repurchases reduced Strategy's deployable USD Cash by 45.3% to $132.7 million, down from $242.4 million the prior week, while its separate USD Reserve held $4.79 billion to cover debt interest and preferred dividend payments.[5][7][4][3]

Saylor said in a follow-up post that STRC’s “BTC Credit tightened to 59 bps” under assumptions that included a bitcoin price of $76,700, below the $80,846 average Strategy paid this week.
