Solana has reached 1,000 consecutive days without an outage as of Nov. 2, 2026, according to developer Mert and crypto media outlet SolanaFloor. The milestone represents the blockchain's longest operational streak without downtime, with its last recorded network halt taking place on Feb. 6, 2024.[2][3]

The operational streak occurred alongside substantial growth in on-chain activity. SolanaFloor reported that since the February 2024 halt, Solana has logged a twofold increase in average monthly decentralized exchange volume, twice as many transactions, and a sixfold increase in traders. Crypto Briefing similarly reported that Solana's sustained uptime accompanied climbing network activity, reflecting growth while keeping attention on infrastructure and decentralization risks.[1][3]

Mert attributed the sustained performance to developer work and major architectural changes, highlighting what he characterized as the largest upgrade in Solana's history. That transition delivered 30 times faster finality, more robust consensus mechanisms, and block times that became twice as fast. According to historical tracking published by SolanaFloor, previous intervals between halts spanned 263, 284, 228, 32, 121, 148, and 346 days.[2][3]
