Ripple has partnered with Stripe-owned wallet infrastructure provider Privy to introduce embedded wallets to the XRP Ledger. The integration enables developers to incorporate XRPL wallets directly into their applications without building their own wallet infrastructure, allowing users to access services without managing a separate wallet configuration.[1][3][5][6][7]

The embedded wallets support assets including XRP and the RLUSD stablecoin, alongside functionality for AI agent payments and the x402 protocol. Users maintain full custody of their wallets and can take them across different applications. In later updates, applications will also be capable of establishing spending rules on these wallets and covering network fees on behalf of users.[2][5][8][9]

According to Privy, the integration aims to simplify building stablecoin payments, fintech tools, and agentic commerce on the network. Crypto Briefing reported that developers will also be able to build applications using ripple:native, ethereum:0x8292bb45bf1ee4d140127049757c2e0ff06317ed, and other XRPL assets.[4][6]
