Ripple Prime launches 24/7 institutional perpetual swaps across 100 traditional asset markets

Ripple Prime has rolled out round-the-clock perpetual swaps on real-world assets for institutional clients, covering more than 100 markets across equities, commodities, and foreign exchange.

Ripple Prime has introduced real-world asset perpetual swaps for institutional investors, providing 24/7 exposure across more than 100 reference markets spanning stocks, ETFs, indices, commodities, and foreign exchange, according to reporting by CoinDesk and The Block.[5][7][8][10]

The contracts reference perpetual futures listed by Trade.xyz on Hyperliquid, with Ripple Prime trading the swaps as principal. The offering supports round-the-clock trading and settlement, and positions can be cross-margined against other asset classes on the platform. Eligible collateral includes Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin, with institutional participants such as trading firm Virtu able to post collateral using the token's Ethereum address.[2][3][5][6][8][9]

The launch follows Ripple's debut of crypto perpetuals in February and marks an expansion into a real-world asset perpetuals sector valued at $9 billion, according to Coin Bureau, which also noted Bloomberg reporting that hedge funds are approaching direct access to tokenized traditional assets.[4]
