Polygon Labs adds TRON support to Open Money Stack
Polygon Labs has integrated TRON into its Open Money Stack payment network, allowing businesses to execute USDT payments and cross-chain transfers between TRON and EVM networks through a single connection.

Polygon Labs has incorporated TRON support into its Open Money Stack infrastructure, according to reporting by CoinDesk. The integration connects with TRON's $94 billion stablecoin supply to simplify cross-border payments and broaden access to USDT liquidity. Cointelegraph reported that the rollout makes TRON live on the framework to allow stablecoins to be moved, programmed, and stored globally.[1][2][5][7]
Polygon said companies can transfer USDT between TRON and supported EVM networks without needing to connect directly to an external wallet provider, bridge, or fiat-ramp operator. The integration allows remittance firms and fintechs to construct end-to-end USDT payment flows that include custody, cross-chain routing, and local currency payouts, primarily targeting markets across Asia, Latin America, and Africa.[1][3][4][8]
The setup is intended to enhance cross-chain liquidity and operational efficiency, positioning Polygon as an intermediary in the stablecoin sector, Crypto Briefing reported. However, CoinDesk noted that utilizing the unified integration does not remove businesses' ongoing regulatory and licensing responsibilities.[5][6]
