OpenAI rolls out GPT-6 and interactive Intelligent UI in ChatGPT

OpenAI has begun rolling out GPT-6 and a new Intelligent UI in ChatGPT, enabling the chatbot to generate interactive tools, diagrams, forms, and visual answers directly inside conversations.

OpenAI announced the rollout of GPT-6 alongside an Intelligent UI feature for ChatGPT, expanding the chatbot beyond plain text to deliver interactive answers and visual tools directly inside conversations. According to OpenAI, the new interface is designed to make everyday questions more visual, complex topics easier to grasp, and interactive tools available on the spot for user tasks.[15][10][14][1]

The updated interface enables ChatGPT to generate components including charts, buttons, forms, graphics, diagrams, and calculators directly within chat threads. Published examples demonstrate the system producing selectable breakdowns of multi-part machines such as bicycles, dinner plans that scale recipes based on guest counts, and wardrobe recommendations that include outfit inspiration photos. The Indian Express also reported that GPT-6 delivers faster responses than previous versions.[3][4][5][7][8][14]

The release is expanding across the chatbot's entire user base. Industry account MTS reported that access opened to paid ChatGPT subscribers on October 7, 2026, before reaching free users starting October 8. Meanwhile, TestingCatalog noted that GPT-6.1 does not yet appear to be available on ChatGPT.[2][6][7][9][11][13]
