US spot bitcoin ETFs surge with $526.6 million in net inflows led by BlackRock
U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs registered roughly $527 million in net inflows on Oct. 19, 2026, driven almost entirely by more than $665 million flowing into BlackRock's IBIT.

U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $526.6 million in net inflows on Monday, Oct. 19, 2026, according to data from SoSoValue and CoinMarketCap. Tracking from Farside Investors and Bitcoin Magazine placed the daily total slightly higher at $526.7 million, marking the sector's largest single-day net inflow in about a month and reversing substantial outflows from the prior week.[2][7][13][4][9][11]
The influx was powered overwhelmingly by BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which pulled in $665.2 million, according to data from Farside Investors and The Block. This marked IBIT's highest single-day net intake since October 2025. BlackRock was the only fund sponsor to log positive net flows on the day, fully absorbing redemptions elsewhere in the market, including $83.6 million in net outflows from Fidelity's FBTC and $54.9 million from Grayscale's GBTC, while other spot bitcoin ETFs reported zero net flows.[1][3][4][10][11][12][14]
The bitcoin ETF rebound contrasted sharply with other crypto funds. Spot ethereum ETFs lost $103.3 million in net outflows on the same day, extending a negative streak to four consecutive days, with BlackRock's ETHA fund accounting for $95.4 million of those redemptions. Spot solana ETFs also logged $6.72 million in outflows, according to figures shared by Cointelegraph.[1][5][6][7]
Despite the heavy ETF demand, bitcoin's spot price struggled to maintain momentum. After touching $83,100 on Monday, bitcoin retreated to close near $81,900, while SoSoValue data showed total net assets across spot bitcoin ETFs at $105.46 billion.[7][8]
