Bitdeer secures 67MW AI data center deal in Malaysia

Bitcoin miner Bitdeer has secured a 10-year agreement for a 67MW artificial intelligence data center in Malaysia, crypto.news reported. The transaction expands the company's secured AI cloud capacity to 273.5MW and pushes its active AI cloud business pipeline past $10 billion.[3]

The facility is intended to deploy NVIDIA GB300 systems, according to Cointelegraph.[2]

Bitdeer plans to deliver the 67MW of capacity by the second quarter of 2027, according to Crypto Briefing. While the expansion could provide a notable boost to Malaysia's technology infrastructure, local regulatory and power supply issues may pose challenges to the buildout.[1]
