US spot crypto ETFs shed over $530 million as Bitcoin steadies near $76,900
U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds recorded steep net outflows to start November, led by a $405.3 million single-day exit from BlackRock's IBIT, even as Bitcoin stabilized near $76,900.

U.S. spot cryptocurrency funds saw heavy redemptions on Nov. 2, with spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds logging nearly $399 million in net outflows and spot Ethereum funds shedding roughly $140 million, according to data from SoSoValue and Crypto Briefing.[1][4][8]
The Bitcoin withdrawals were driven primarily by BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which shed $405.3 million on Monday in its largest single-day outflow since June, Cointelegraph reported. Bucking the broader decline, Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) posted an inflow of $6.68 million. In Ether funds, Morgan Stanley's Ethereum Trust (MSSE), which debuted in July 2026, posted the largest single inflow with $3.15 million.[6][8]
The heavy withdrawals extended a two-day streak after spot Bitcoin ETFs dropped $643.2 million on Oct. 30, pushing total net outflows to around $1.04 billion across recent sessions, according to flow trackers and industry observers. Alongside the ETF exits, Binance customers pulled a net $4.72 billion as crypto markets contended with broader uncertainty ahead of the U.S. midterm elections, CoinDesk reported.[2][3][5]
Despite the institutional pullbacks, Bitcoin's price found footing. After dipping to $76,300, the cryptocurrency edged up 0.2% to hover around $76,900 and posted modest gains at the opening of Wall Street trading on Tuesday.[5][7]
