Binance 24-hour net inflows swing positive past $1.8 billion after hack recovery
Binance recorded a surge in capital deposits on Nov. 3, posting upwards of $1.8 billion to $2.3 billion in 24-hour net inflows following restored access to funds after a reported hack.

Significant capital flowed back into Binance on Nov. 3, reversing heavy outflows earlier in the week. According to on-chain analytics account Lookonchain and outlet Whale Insider, 24-hour net inflows reached $1.822 billion, citing DefiLlama reserve data and Arkham transactions. Cointelegraph subsequently reported that Binance led all exchanges with positive net inflows turning positive at $2.3 billion as the exchange restored access to funds following its reported $6.3 billion hack.[1][2][4]
DefiLlama reserve metrics tracked Binance's total assets at between $127.699 billion and $128.128 billion, maintaining its first-place ranking among tracked exchanges ahead of OKX and Bitfinex. Even with the daily recovery, longer-term figures remained deep in the red, with 7-day net outflows between $11.832 billion and $11.971 billion, alongside 30-day net outflows of $10.55 billion to $10.699 billion. Spot trading volume hovered around $6.59 billion.[1][3][4]
Arkham transaction records shared by Whale Insider showed a flurry of large deposits into Binance hot wallets. Notable incoming transfers included three Bitcoin deposits from addresses labeled as Wintermute totaling more than 1,870 BTC—comprising tranches of 222.95 BTC ($17.08 million), 1,081 BTC ($82.84 million), and 566.799 BTC ($43.43 million). The exchange's hot wallets also took in stablecoin deposits of 25 million USDC and 15 million USDT.[4]
